Christ no longer has hands,
He has only our hands
To perform his works today.

Christ no longer has feet,
He has only our feet
To visit mankind today.

Christ no longer has voice,
He has only our voice
To speak of Himself today.

Christ no longer has strength,
He has only our strength
To draw mankind to himself.

Christ no longer has Gospels
That they may yet read,
Save what we do

In word and deed.
That is the Gospel
That the Spirit is writing.
